petrol price goes up~
yup harga minyak naik lagi.frustrating sungguh (eventhough xde kereta sendiri, rasa sakit tu tetap ada..) abah terpaksa pk alternatif lain untuk mengurangkan duit yang bakal terbang bila isi minyak nanti..selalu kalau isi full cuma rm50 je..sekarang ni maybe da sampai rm80..so abah maybe akan beli 1 lagi kereta kecil (second hand sudah..)untuk ulang-alik dr rumah ke tempat kerja (Shah Alam-KL)..huu..

What made the government (elected by the Rakyat for the Rakyat, or... is it?) raised the petrol price to the whooping RM0.78 per liter in one day?
1. Malaysians are rich! Who said so? MAA reported on May 15 that Mercedez Benz sales grow 6% despite the hefty tax by the government on imported luxury cars.
2. The Malaysian public transport systems are very efficient. You just need to wake up at 5am to go to work.
3. Our price still lower than Thailand and Singapore even though they are not oil producing countries. Huh?
4. Oil for food. You want to eat food or drink petrol everyday?
5. The traffic condition in Malaysia is hopeless. You should start thinking about riding the bicycle.
6. Again, Malaysians are rich. The government taxed you almost 300% on your imported cars like Honda and Toyota yet the Malaysians are still buying them like vegetables in the wet market.
7. Screw drivers and car-jacks are not cheap you know!?
8. Every year the government reports that our economy is growing. But it doesn't mean we are making money! We are just growing.
9. Nevermind-lah, the Malaysians are the "Tidak Apa" lot. They will make noise for a few weeks then later "Sudah Lupa-dah"!
10. Malaysia is like that, just accept it, price will always increase, because we are growing!
Better pay now than suffer later

Many people are not using their brains when they only see the petrol price increase. They do not realize that with this increase, the government is saving on fuel subsidies. Ultimately who is the government? The taxpayers are the government. If Pak Lah allows subsidies to continue, there will be a bigger national budget deficit and smaller reserves. Who owns the reserves and who pays the deficits? The Malaysian public.
So Pak Lah is only saving the Malaysian public and taxpayers from a bigger nightmare that will result if fuel prices do not reflect market rates more closely.
Please, instead of condemning and insulting Pak Lah, please thank him for his farsightedness and mercy to his successor who will not be facing such a nightmare

harga minyak naik hampir 1 ringgit..abah terpaksa fikir alternatif lain untuk menjimatkan duit..sebab kereta Naza Citra abah tu banyak 'telan' minyak..so abah merancang nak beli kereta yang lebih kecil untuk dibawa pergi tempat kerja..yela, everyday ulang-alik Shah Alam-KL susah la kan kalau macam ni..jadi kalau kereta kecil senang sikit..+ lagi maybe every month harga minyak akan naik lagi..sekarang ni harga barang naik lagi..

In our hands ...the future of all life on Earth depends on each and everyone of us. Taking care of Mother Earth demands that we should all Act Now!
Tips To Go Green Everyday
- Use energy saving light bulbs in every room [we did, actually and abah kept asking why our room looked dark and gloomy]
- Buy reusable batteries [owh great~ my lil bro took my batteries and inserted them to his remote control car]
- Unplug your mobile phone as soon as it has been fully charged
- Turn off lights, TV, and computers when not in use [well, this one is quite hard to do. i mean, the laptop goes online 24-hours, even the lamps on as my siblings afraid of the dark *sigh*]
- Shop with your own reusable bag instead of using plastic bags [hmm..we bring handbag, not the big-tote-bag]
- Recycle wasted items [yup! we love this part since my family is hontou newspaper+plastic bottles collecter!]
- Use less water [conserve water, everyone!]
- Bring along your own containers when buying take-away food
- Pledge to walk more and use more public transport [well, i'm a commuter]
sometimes i feel worry about our planet in future. what will happen? will this planet turns into a disaster area? will the alien invade our planet and take charges? *sigh* will the huMan kind extinct? only Allah knows..
Quoting Allan Johnson: "The past is history; the future is a mystery; this moment is a gift; that is why this moment is called the present. Enjoy it."

Rewind, Fast Forward
currently reading this book 'Rewind, Fast Forward- An Anthology' edited by Renee Koh. bought it from School Holiday MPH Sale at Jaya Jusco Bt Raja..luckily we went there to buy shoes..if not, i would never get a chance to buy this book at half price! [usual price:RM19.90] . This book contents a lot of short stories set in either the past or the future submitted by young writers. it's a cool book, yeah..there are so many new vocabs for me so i have to open a dictionary too if i read this book..
