one of the OR reference books ~ big and thick
my OR lecturer, PM. Dr. Mohd Rizam Abu Bakar is a strict lecturer yet a funny man.. Sometimes he likes to tease us with cold jokes [huhu..we couldn't help to laugh xD] and is easily distracted with small things [i guess ~ based on what happened this 2weeks ; when his laptop malfunctioned and the projector's angle had been moved and when his students did not respond to him]..this subject is quite easy to score [prof told us~ he even said, "whoever get B & below in this subject, he/she is really stupid"]. It's about mathematical programming [yup2 i love it!]..and we might use the help of LINGO software [i still searching the right software to download]..in particular, it simply focuses on linear programming, dynamic programming, transportation problem, etc. and maximize the profit, in the same time minimize the risk/loss..and OR also is about decision making..
then my another-brain-cracking-subject is MTH4403 - Nonparametric Statistics Methods which is lectured by Dr Mohd Bakri Adam [as a Phd scholar from one of the famous university in the world - he..of course had a very obvious British slang ]..he's a good lecturer too..and looks young although he graduated in 1995 [i was a Standard 1 student]..i still remember his words 2days ago ~ "a good statiscian is a good observant" and now i keep observing everything that happen around me =3 ..Dr Bakri also sure knows how to make this subject is fun to learn [based on my experience 2days ago]..i just hope he could say out loud since he has a small voice.. >>whatever it is, i really hope i get great grades for this last-final semester..May Allah gives guidance to me and bring success to my life..Amin
*going through an Arabic book..0.o..got a lot of words to translate..feel like calling my cousin to translate them for me..Asma' tolong oii*
